Singer-songwriter Phil Lam aspires to be the next Jay Chou, and for his debut single, he actually got the Mando-pop king's favorite wordsmith Vincent Fang to pen the lyrics! The promising Hong Kong pop newcomer was born and raised in Canada and in 2007 he took part in TVB's International Chinese New Talent Singing Championship and decided to develop his music career in Hong Kong. A great player with the saxophone and the piano, Phil spent a whole year preparing for his first EP Loaded. He showcases his talents by composing all the songs on the EP, which includes the major plug "Rain Falls Onto The Earth" (the song written by Vincent Fang), plus "Poem Writing" and the Cantonese song "Not One Less".
