I really hate people that buy fake luxury goods such as LV/Gucci bags or Rolexes. The part that irritates me is when they say oh I got my stuff so cheap from China as compared to the stuff they sell at the boutiques. I know they are ignorant, either have no money or too cheap to buy the real thing. People with this type of mentality, does it affect how they are as a person? Such as being fake or a poser if they flaunt fake luxury goods? Are they trustworthy? I'd like your opinions. thanks
Personally, I don't see anything wrong with buying fake stuff. I mean, the whole point of buying an expensive watch, bag, whatever is just because of the looks and the brand name, right? I don't see a logical reason behind spending the extra buck for "the real thing".
Are you one of the salesperson at LV/Gucci/Rolex? <_< Personally, I don't find anything wrong with buying counterfeit products either. I mean, the difference in the pricing is vast, and of course these people know that they are compromising quality, but they are willing to do so for a taste of carrying 'branded' stuff around. Besides, some of the branded stuff don't really have much difference in terms of quality, but we are paying a lot more for the advertisement deals/promotion and branded logo. So nothing wrong for anyone if they wanna get a counterfeit product and be happy about it At least they are honest enough to be telling. On the other hand, I just can't stand people who buy fake luxury products, but PRETEND they are genuine instead!
some high quality fakes are so well done that it's almost impossible to tell with a simple glance...and chances are...most people who wear those high quality fakes arent gonna let people come up to them and closely inspect their clothes or gear lol.... and there are people out there who wanna pretend to be high rollers and as long as they'res a market...we're gonna keep seeing fakes or not lol... with that being said...i dont really mind people who wear fakes...watever floats their boat, as long as its not horribly done..one time @ the mall, i saw a guy wearing a bape shirt that had one of those cheap canada logo prints stamped onto the back LOL... oh and i wouldnt wear fakes personally cuz quality and feel is very important to mee.. besides authenticate gear gives you more street cred lol-cool2
I think it really depends if you want good quality products or not. If someone is just going with the fashion n use it for lik a few months then doesnt matter. As long as they don't insult what you do. I personally prefer brand products because you can really see the difference and it does last longer but i know someone who will always say that looks fake. So, i guess now its really hard to tell what is fake and what is not now a days.
i don't see it as a problem either. Not every person can afford luxury goods. And it would be wrong to say, if that's the case, dun buy it or anything similar to it. Cheers. Stay cool

lol I dont hate em-lol... After all, it's um...their money.. I personally dont like fake items, whether it be costume jewelry *really dont care for that..* or fashion accessories, like pocketbooks, or purses, etc.. I dont think all people that purchase them are fake, because some of my friends will honestly admit that its imitation.. I have nothing against people that buy it, I personally dont though.
I personally don't care if people wear fake stuff if that's their style . But it bugs me if people wear fake stuff head to toe and try to pull it off like they are really rich. Now, that's annoying. Some people might feel that it is pointless to spend something so expensive that is not practical so they buy fake stuff. Me, on the other hand will never wear fake things.
i was at winners today... i saw a bunch of Pumas which im 95% sure are fake... im indignant as a customer, they are still fucken selling them for 45 dollars a pop. I should call the po po and get Winners blasted lol. But im not that controversial.
think of it this way.. are you here to download movies? do you download music? its just the same. just in this case, theyre bags..
Really do not think it hurts anyone except for the designers themselves. If they didn't make it such a high-priced item to begin, it wouldn't be so hot and popular for materialistic people who only buy it only to flaunt their wealth or lack thereof. Counterfeit items certainly force designers to question their decisions on making the prices.
I don't buy fake stuff but people who do buy fake stuff don't bother me. If they think the items they bought are real, I just laugh at them inside my head. What I find very common these days are people buying "A-items." They are almost exactly like the real thing, some parts of the item could even be from the real thing too. They are cheaper than the real ones but more expensive than the completely fake stuff.
i dont think theres nothing wrong with it, why pay ridiculous prices for something that cost a fraction of what its worth the only thing wrong with buying fake goods is usually it supports organised crime and is probably made in sweatshops by children
nothing wrong with a little fake stuff..... Theres a whole new market for A4 products...... fakes which as good as the real version but only fake.... but theres nothing wrong with the real stuff either
