    if people pay with alot of pennies, its most of the time a joke.
    if a customers comes with a bag full with pennies to pay, i would tell him to count it himself and put it up eachother 10 each row.
    its good they put up detention for those guys, its totally not funny if people mess around with pennies, thatswhy alot of stores doesnt use it anymore in the netherlands.
    also even the law doesnt say its illegal, school can still put up some rules like that, to avoid pranks

    It just annoying for the receiver because they still have many more customers, and if everyone paid in pennies, it will take the piss out of them.

    the kids behind them didnt get to eat, thats just messed up, i'd be hella annoyed if i was a customer behind them, that's not even funny

    that is wrong paying in pennies, it makes the other kids in the back of the line not being able to get their lunch. those kids do deserve detention for a crappy prank
