Tuesday May 6, 2008 Hong Kong TVB series Just Love II <老婆大人II> held a costume fitting ceremony yesterday, attended by many members of the show's original cast, including Jessica Hsuan (宣萱), Sunny Chan (陳錦鴻), Joyce Tang (滕麗名), Patrick Tang (鄧健泓) and Selena Li (李詩韻). It was during filming for the original Just Love series that rumours began sparking between Patrick and Selena and although they continue to deny their relationship, Selena's sweet smile whenever it is mentioned seemed to give things away all the time. Patrick remarked: "The last series was filmed between July and September 2004. I remember it clearly because I was still dating Marsha Yuen (原子鏸) at the time, but by the end of filming, we had split up." Asked if he was happy to have met a new girlfriend through the series, Patrick refused to reply and just smiled that he was pleased to have met a good friend through the show. As it was also his birthday yesterday, Patrick was asked if Selena had bought him a gift, but he said he did not know, but he bought himself a Rokushi Gattai model robot worth over HK$1000. He said he would like to celebrate his birthday quietly. Selena was asked if she had bought anything for Patrick and she replied that she will be buying him a gift later. As for the storyline telling of their wedding in the sequel, Selena said that she hopes that they will have a fantasy Disneyland wedding. As for whether or not she would like that to happen in real life, Selena said she would, but it would be nothing to do with Patrick. Jessica will be reprising her role as the career-minded female judge in the series and screen-husband Sunny revealed that their baby son in the original show will be about three years old now. After becoming a father himself in real life, Sunny smiled that he will be bringing his experiences to his performance in the show. Sunny expressed disappointment that Lo Hoi Pang (盧海鵬), who played his father in the original show, is unable to appear in the sequel after signing for ATV, so the storyline will tell that his character has passed away. credits: batgwa.
^ It wasn't too bad. Something about Jessica being a career woman in a law firm and Sunny as a stay at home dad. Jessica is always interesting to watch...
I havnt heard of this series before either, but from wat i cn gather, its not my type of series, sounds pretty boring to me.
I actually really liked the first one! Selena fell in love with Sunny and tried to get Jesica into legal trouble so she could replace Jessica. Obviously we all know how that turned out.
