Idol concerts’ seats sell out in a mere matter of minutes. Also, fans that live in the countryside or overseas can rarely make it to the concert. NFX Media (a 3-Dimensional video producing company)’s Park Chan Soo (47) Director said, “This August, the first appearance of a 3D concert movie will release these kinds of frustrations.”

“Seo Tae Ji and Big Bang, etc., shot their concerts recently in 3-dimensional film. Out of these two, Big Bang is set to have a movie preview at the movie theater with the concert, additional member interviews, and a documentary about the process of promoting included. Poses like G-Dragon holding his hand out to the fans will be vivid as if one could grab it. This project’s model is last year’s 3-dimensional concert movie which garnered popularity in the USA, ‘Hannah Montana and Miley Cyrus.’ The actual scene of high-teen singer Miley Cyrus’ world tour concert was captured through 3-dimensional film.

Director Park stated, “It seems that making Hallyu (Korean Wave) stars’ performances into 3D concert movies can be a new lucrative business.”
