Opening of "Asia Hollywood" - Eason and Miriam's 'Hooked on You' figure shown Invested by Media Asia, movie interactive game themed "Asia Hollywood" held it's opening ceremony at Hong Kong International Airport Terminal yesterday. The figures two meters tall of characters played by Eason Chan and Miriam in "Hooked on You" were shown. Miriam laughed non-stop when she saw her own figure. She thought it quite resembled her, but Eason's figure was better looking than his real person. Miriam wore a pink gown and she said it was requested by her boss. She felt there's nothing wrong to be wearing so formally as long as it respects the event. Miriam was busy promoting her movie recently and she just came back from Shanghai yesterday morning. She hardly has time to sleep but luckily she's finally able to go home for a rest after the event ended early yesterday. After attending the movie premier tonight, she'll have to go Guangzhou to attend a few more premiers. However, she has not really watched the film herself. She has promised to watch with Eason after they return to Hong Kong. In the past, whenever Miriam has a new movie showing, her parents will go to the cinema to listen to the audience's response and let her know afterwards. Miriam said China audience most cared about when she'll get married and when she'll work with Daniel Wu again, perhaps it's because "Love Undercover" was too popular. In "Hooked on You", Miriam's character gave up a long relationship for her career. She admitted this very close to reality, "Eason has a daughter in the movie, very similar to his real life. Hence 'Ah Miu''s experience will make the audience worry. Actually 'Ah Miu' is not a poor thing. She's a girl with patience and courage." Will she be pressurized by what the audience thinks "I don't care, it's not breeding a foal! I'm not in a rush and never thought of this question. Can even give birth when 40 years old. This year my focus is on movies, and my concert. Wait till I'm more free."
ahaha eason's figure was better looking than real person....kudos to the person who said this...lol....anyway i don't really think miriam can act...her facial expressions just don't seem right in her movies...imo she still fails to bring the flavor to the character she's trying to portray...
I agree that her acting is not that great, but its better than a lot of other movie stars though. Its kind of sad to see how the Hong Kong entertainment sector lack really good talent.
