which would u prefer, the old skool actors, series, singers, etc (1970s or lata to 2000) or the newbies(2001-present)?

As for me, i prefer the old skool entertainments. Probably because i just miss all the old skool pplz especially those who retired from the entertainment circle. I dont like the newbies that r in the entertainment circle currently with the exception of few: Raymond lam and that's all i could think of.

prefer old school too. if nothing else, the songs are much better. now, regardless of whether they can sing or not, they will release songs and albums without any quality work. disappointing.

i don't even see how this is even a question. personally, in my opinion, if u choose new, u obviously have no taste whatsoever.
old school stuff is soooooooooooo good. there was actual talent. like ab289 says, now, everyone just releases albums without singing qualifications so they all end up sounding like a person at karaoke, or act, and end up looking like they are smiling when they should be crying and crying when they should be smiling. terrible.

    old school of course la
music - from the yr 2000 i dont c any can that can actually sing, like jacky cheung the god of singing, if u compared him to edison chan shawn yue and all those newbie they are useless, singing is all about the voice like gillian chung she cant sing at all. roman tam, jenny tsang, yip lai yee, tsui sui fung the are really really have marvellous voices. and the old songs are all better than new songs.

series- now adays we dont see any good decent series like ' tai si toi' all the old martial arts series before the 1990, the ridiculous special effect makes it look everything like dragon ball, some series dont even have sense wots on its just pronotion that makes pple wanna c it. these days TVB/movie companies are just trying to promote new actors and actresses, they cant simply act. which is sometime that ATV got some good series coz they keep it old school sometimes. the old stephen chow movies are better than the new ones

    PROVE me wrong
