I'm going down to the States next week. I'm guessing everything is cheaper, and so are the JDM parts. anyone from NYC knows some reputable JDM shops? I'm looking for TE37's and a set of Recaro's. USED -cool and btw I have a set of authentic RegaMaster up for grabs if anyone finds me TE37's.
Thanks It's actually black TE37 and black Recaro's I'm looking for. I have white Rega's already and I'm sick of cleaning them every other day... and the car is midnight blue/ purple so the black profile makes is VERY stealth, question of not getting spotted by cops.
TE37's are like 2000 dollars if you get a good deal... and recaros are like 700 a seat.... whered you get this cash? lol
TE37's aren't 2k for a set of used one. They're more like 1.2k MAX ( 15 in ) and Recaro's are about 500$ for the DC5R but I don't want it in red. It's already a thief magnet, I don't want it worst... so anyone from NYC can refer me to any JDM shops? Plus, I could always sell my Rega's and "downgrade" to the TE37. Literally. downgrade. The TE's are heavier then the Rega's but stealth look > showoff white rims
there are stores here in the city, but im not sure if they will have those stuff in stock. you can call fullthrottlenyc.com see if they have it. honestly, i do more online shopping for car parts then in the city.
I don't want to get online ones because TE37s and Bride/Recaro have a lot of replicas/ fake ones. Thanks for the link. edit: I checked the website, they have Slipstreams for sale so I'm guessing they don't have highend TE's. My friend works at this shop but they only have brand new parts which I can't afford. Bride LoMax brand spanking new XD.
I checked the closest "high end" JDM shop to my house : 600km away in Toronto wtf... (from Montreal) www.speedstar.com, where one of my friends work, one Bride non reclinable goes for 900$ Still waiting for cheaper places.
