Nose Bleeding

i have an occasional nose bleeding, use to have alot when i was smaller anyways the best way to stop it is to pinch the hole that is bleeding, i saw people stuff tissue (makes it worst) in there or put their heads up, how do you guys solve it or do anyone freak out becaue of a nose bleed lol

 

errr.......my mammi always told me to pinch the ridge of the nose like you as well.....my bro does the other method when you shove like a tissue up your nose.....but i find that even more scary.....my sis on the otherhand depending if its a really heavy one she would let it drip out over a sink with no tissues or anything.....thats so scary when you see it all over the sink.....but yeh...id say lie flat and pinch the ridge of your nose with tissues just at the bottom of the nose to wipe any blood that does leak down

 

Best is to tilt head a little back with a cold towel on the forehead.

Personally, i blow till it stops which works for me all the time.

 

my mom makes me lie down and then she puts a cold towel on my forehead. i dunno why.
my doctor told me that i should just let it bleed until it stops. he told me something about how its bad to tilt ur head back. i don't remember the reason cause i was going dizzy from all the blood coming out.

 

ooo yeh forgot the cold towel teem....>.<

but i find that sometimes when you lie flat...al the blood from the nose goes to the back of your throat and you find it quite sickly...i mean one time i bought it all back up and it was like blood sick.....

From what i learned from my nursing classes, tilting a little is ok, but not until it becomes a serious backflow. Your dizziness arise from the sight of blood?

Yea, that sensation sucks big time.

 

I am a A student. I sit 'til the end of class. How come it says your offline, but you really aren't?

 

not from the sight but the doc told me to not tilt my head back and to just let it bleed till it stops. so after about 15 minutes, i got woozy

 

but what happens if you havent got no tissues you use your sleeve or hold it in???

but i haven't had a nose bleed for a couple of years now..XD

 

Me thinks thats one of the worse ideas to let it bleed. Next time, titl ur head back a little with a cold towel on the forehead. -^_^

 

Nose bleed happens when you are yi hey. You should drink more liquid.
