Monday August 4, 2008 Hong Kong Canto-rappers FAMA (農夫) completed their run of two Raise Your Hands <舉高隻手演嘢會> concerts yesterday at HITEC Star Hall. The show featured a host of guests, including Jin tha MC, Chet Lam (林一峰), Miriam Yeung (楊千嬅) and Fung Shui master Mak Ling Ling (麥玲玲). There were also plenty of celebrity faces in the audience, such as Hilary Tsui (徐濠縈), Shirley Yeung (楊思琦), Louis Cheung (張繼聰), Justin Lo (側田), Sherman Chung (鍾舒漫), media tycoon Peter Lam (林建嶽) and CMD boss DJ Tommy. However, their other boss Edison Chen (陳冠希) did not make an appearance. When Miriam joined the guys on the stage, they immediately started to joke about her rumours with Real Ting (丁子高). When they talked to Chet, they suggested that perhaps watching Mr Hong Kong the night before would have been more entertaining, because although the men were handsome, they were all about 20 years short when it came to intelligence. They even gave Edison a spot in their jokes, laughing that the people in the audience who had paid $400 for a ticket were not there to watch them, but were actually wanting to try and catch a glimpse of Edison instead. They then commented that everyone had seen "an awful lot of him" recently. After the show, the duo were asked if they felt that just having two shows was not enough, and CKwan replied that their throats had had enough. 6Wing explained that, after the first show, he had felt his voice grating and they were quite worried that it would not hold out for the second show. Asked about rumours that Edison had returned to Hong Kong secretly to watch their show, both CKwan and 6Wing said that they had spoken to their boss over the last couple of days and he had encouraged them to do their best, but it was definitely a long-distance call. As for poking fun at him during the show, they replied innocently that they were just pointing out the truth because Edison has been in many productions lately. Asked if Miriam took part in the show as Edison's replacement, FAMA replied that they had invited Miriam themselves, because, as well as being Edison's god-sister, she is also a good friend of theirs. credits: batgwa.
lol, FAMA always joking around.. Miriam as a guest? Doesn't seem to really match? lol I didn't even know they were friends. -what? I'd think they'd invite Justin or something. I guess they're all just a bit crazy :nuts: bwahahaha Hope they had a good show. Go go FAMA!
lol even tho Edison was a Boss, im sure the Fans will still kill him, lol he prob needs his own Bullet Proof VIP Room to watch the Concert
man im bored of edison and ive fogotten about what hes done....now bring him back to HK and team up with FAMA live together again =)
lol, ppl need to give him a break, i mean, even if he cant sing anymore or act in movies, he can still live in HK and run his business or something
yh, ppl have to give him a break~ but, i really think that it has really died down, and not too many ppl r still angry with him~ in my opinion, i dont think he has done anything wrong~ if this was in the america, it would b a totally diferrernt case~
its not like it was his fault for spreading those pictures, why do people get angry over him? But then again, why did he took those pics? memories?
