couldnt delete or edit my other thread so im posting a new one. ok situation is i just build a computer. plugged everything in, checked all cables, made sure everything is tight in place and where everything should be. hit the power switch; all the fans start spinning. didnt hear the bios kick in but not sure if there is a beep for bios since this is the first time im booting up this computer. aside from hearing the bios kick in i get no image on my monitor.... i think its cause theres no video card driver installed but im not so sure about that. there is also no onboard video card so theres no way for me to see anything. any suggestions or solutions on helping me fix this?
You dont need any drivers to boot your computer. Problems could be: - VideoCard is not plugged in prop. - Monitor Input Cable or Power Cord not attached prop. Check these first.
take out every component and put them back in, (or just do it with the gfx card) could be a dud monitor, so try and get another one, or maybe you got a dud gfx card so did you get the beep at the beginning then? cause sometimes you can tell from the type of beep, what the problem is (refer back to a manual or something)
