Friday, March 21, 2008 Hong Kong Niki Chow will be appearing in a $30 million (HKD) mainland China production of "Legend of Book and Sword" 《書劍恩仇錄》. The series is 40 episodes and Niki will be flying to Hengdian to start filming next week. Niki will be playing the role of Fok Ching To, opposite mainland actor, Kiu Chun Yu, who is cast as the male lead Chan Ka Lok. Kiu recently appeared opposite Nicholas Tse in 《浣花洗劍錄》. The partnership of Niki and Kiu will be highly anticipated. "Legend of Book and Sword" also stars veterans Adam Cheng Siu Chau and Yuen Chau. Niki is extremely excited about the opportunity to work with the veteran actors. "I love watching them in series. Since this is a rare opportunity to work together, I will be sure to steal some acting tips from them!" Niki appeared at a radio station to promote her new song, "Believe." Asked whether Niki will sing this song for rumored boyfriend, Kevin Cheng Ka Wing, she said, "You tell him to open the radio and listen for the song instead!" The song's lyrics spoke of a woman finding out her boyfriend was cheating due to a trail of cell phone text messages. If Niki encountered such a situation, how would she react? I dnt really watch mainland series so doubt i'd catch this, but guess she'd get paid alot more than working with TVB so good move!
