The imposter attended a public event under the name of the Hong Kong actor Hong Kong actor Nicholas Tse's divorce from ex-wife Cecilia Cheung did not hit him badly, judging from the amount of work he has and his popularity amongst fans. Recently, a company in Guangxi, China publicised that they had invited Nicholas to their ribbon-cutting ceremony. They even printed the actor's name on their banners, attracting a huge turnout successfully. However, Nicholas did not turn up. Instead, the company had invited Huang Ning -- a Nicholas lookalike -- to grace the event, much to the chagrin of fans. The fans displayed their displeasure and anger online and also informed Nicholas's manager Mani Fok. Responding to the issue yesterday, Mani wrote on her microblog that she was very shocked to hear of the incident and would deal with it immediately. "Our company will not tolerate any impersonation of our artistes, which could result in damages to our artistes' images or any other losses. We will reserve the rights to take any legal action," Mani said. Huang Ning, the imposter, claimed that he was wrongly accused and did not know that the organisers wanted him to impersonate Nicholas. He explained, "I told the organisers and emphasised that there should not be any mention of Nicholas Tse at the event, or on any of their promotional materials." "I did not receive a single cent for this event. I attended because a friend told me to," Huang Ning added. Creds: xinmsn
