On July 9 2011, Nicholas Tse and Cecilia Cheung finally met up with their precious children, Lucas and Quintus.During the meet up, Nicholas and Cecilia Cheung did not quarrel with each other (until their ears turned red) however during this treasured meeting which lasted 90 minutes, Cecilia only spoke three sentences to Nicholas.
Since the custody of their children’s rights have not yet been settled, Nicholas, for the sake of his sons’ health and well-being, had intentions to apply for joint custody and bear with his pain so as to let Cecilia have the chance to care for their kids too.

For the past two months, amidst the divorce rumors, Cecilia had been using a chasing approach while Nicholas had been avoiding and hiding from Cecilia like a plague. Two days ago, the troubled couple finally met in their home, Yang Ming Shan, and despite several speculations from outsiders that Cecilia and Nicholas would have a heated argument over the custody rights, the couple were unusually peaceful and silent.

This was probably because they rarely gathered together as one whole family with everyone present and probably not to stir up a storm and frighten the kids. In this short interval of 90 minutes, Cecilia only spoke three sentences to Nicholas.

The moment Nicholas stepped into the house, Cecilia said, “Oh, you are back already huhs?” After a few minutes, Cecilia spoke again, “Why don’t you play with the kids for a while.” When Nicholas stood up to leave the house, Cecilia spoke the third and final sentence, “Whenever you want to visit the kids, just drop me a call anytime.” The entire conversation between them had no signs of any discussion about the divorce proceedings or custody rights.

No Need to Fight It Out in Court

Although the meet-up of the century by Cecilia and Nicholas had no conclusion, the most pressing task at hand was to resolve the custody rights for the children. According to reliable sources, in consideration for the development of his two children, Lucas and Quintus, Nicholas had joint custody intentions with Cecilia, even to the extent of letting the two children stay with her permanently. Allegedly, Nicholas regarded this as the best possible solution to fulfill his’ and Cecilia’s wishes. According to reliable sources, Nicholas felt that this arrangement had many benefits. For example, for Lucas and Quintus’ future placement of schools and the kids’ important arrangements in life, even if him and Cecilia were to divorce, he could plan and discuss this with Cecilia and mutually decide what was best for their children. With that, he and Cecilia would also not have to fight it out and cross swords with each other in court over the custody rights.

Nicholas also considered that it would be very convenient for him to visit his two sons in the future and that would be fair enough for both parties to have equal visitation opportunities. However, up until today, both parties have not formally gotten down to discuss and draft such arrangements.

Nicholas Tse’s Constant Outtakes in Commercial

After seeing his two children and a good night of rest, Nicholas Tse left the hotel at 7am for Hong Kong’s Zhonghuan Wharf to prepare for a watch advertisement. Upon seeing reporters, Nicholas let out a smile. It was apparent that he was in a good mood. Asked how things were and whether he had good rest, Nicholas replied, “Had a good rest of sleep but still have to carry on working!”

When shooting officially began, good friend Phillip Ng, who was Linda Chung’s rumored ex-boyfriend, showed up. Both men talked, shared some good laughs and played with some Wing Chun hand movements. After a while, Nicholas wore his leather jacket and filmed a scene driving a motorbike. Nicholas was already used to the requirements of him looking good (in a “chok” manner), however, he ended up with ten outtakes in a simple scne of him getting off from the motorbike.

In the afternoon, Nicholas and Phillip went to a resting spot and practiced sparring with each other with some long wooden sticks. Nicholas lifted his leg and gave an air kick and neither of them were letting loose in their fist fights, displaying alertness and swiftness. After lunch and under the scorching sun, Nicholas shot a stick battling scene with another masked man. The scene was intensely thrilling!

Stunned in Thoughts When Asked About Sons

In the evening at around 6 PM, Nicholas’ EEG manager, Mani Fok, visited the film set. Mani expressed that after leaving the Yang Ming Shan Chong residence, Nicholas went back to being reticent again. She also revealed that Nicholas would be staying in Hong Kong in the upcoming weeks to familiarize himself with scripts and to meet the directors.

After wrapping up the shoot at 7 PM, reporters asked Nicholas whether his two sons had said that they miss him. Nicholas became stunned and his male cousin had to lead him away, only answering that he rarely contacted his mother, Deborah Dik. Returning back to the hotel, Nicholas finally said to the reporters, “I’m leaving now, you take care and rest too!”

In other news, the director of Nicholas Tse’s film, The Viral Factor, Dante Lam praised Nicholas for his professionalism for a take which required him to jump into the sea. Jumping into a 5 meters deep sea, Nicholas only needed one take, clearly a dedicated actor but with disregard to his own life.
