i read from another forum that there are viruses trojans of msn 8 around that aren't officially from msn themself your account needs to be 'refered' from someone already using their service in order for it to be activated so.. if i were you people still planning on downloading it and trying, i suggest you guys to wait for the real announcement / full version =]
well, i'm a user quite long for the MSN Messenger 8.0 BETA, but unfortunately, i din have face the problem of the virus, and scan d... well, i suggest tat too turbogor, but i mean this is a test version and should noe wat is featured on this new version... i'll post when the full version is released... plz wait~
I'm an official beta tester so I have my hotmail and my msn upgraded to live mail and beta messenger. the messenger is ok, but the hotmail is much better
Just curious.. what's so special about version 8? I'd like to try it, but I'm kinda skeptical of betas now, especially b/c IEv7 is giving me some headaches... -lol (Refer to thread in this tech section)
WOW Crap! I was just checking system resources, and I noticed that this MSN 8 is taking up 25 MB RAM!!!!!!????
yup...all these things take up mads amounts of space...its because of all the garbage features they have in it...
i hate msn, it always refuses 2 sign me on b4 so i switched ha it went so far i began to start a war with it -shoot
