well i got an iphone last week....after working out how to use it properly, i wanted to set my own ringtone, so i went onto google and searched how to add my own ringtones, but for some reason it doesn't work no more, can anybody help me???

ye if u jailbreak ur iphone u can do so much more in terms of installing programs and it also won't be locked to one network. i rele think that is stupid. the iphone 2nd gen is coming out soon.
THe 2nd Gen? You mean that funny looking phone which seems to be circulating around the Net? It looks like a really weird design to be coming from Apple if its a real one.
i haven't seen it but i know that there is a new iphone coming out this year which has 3g as one of its new functions. apart from that i know nothing more.
usually thats already been done by the seller ;] at least where ive got it from, was already been unlocked/jailbreaked :biggthumpup: they only reminded me not too update any softwares after installing it in my iPhone.. they claim apple will detect it as a not allowed jail-breaked version and my iPhone will be auto-switched off.. and cant be turned on again.. ps..i havent tried it out yet..so i cant confirm it =P maybe someone else -pirate
false... only in places like UK or HK have it unlocked.. if your in the US... it will be locked still mainly... you have to jail break it yourself... anyways.. apple will just update it for you and lock the phone again.. so you can unlock it again if you need to with jail breaking it lol
oic..im from europe, not UK/HK/US -LOL and ALL the azn shops here sale the unlocked aka jailbreaked version 1.1.4 with 8GB and 16 GB :kekekegay: ims we r so fortunate =P first weve got other providers here..so its a must too unlock it before selling. second most of their buyers..know nothing bout comp..dont mention bout unlocking and that kinda stuff..its already hard too dig in howto handle a new iPhone for them..(okay okay might sound a bit exaggerating =D) if i by accidentally push the update button..which i think i wont..but my noob friends will =D they just click on everything :O dont think its hard too fix it..but i can always go back where ive bought it and let them fix it for me :biggthumpup:
gdgd now u can use any network on it now and install some programs which u could not have installed before.
i need help here i still cant seem to connect my iphone with the internet..i tried with my friends net and it still wont let me to connect...:( so that means i can play or install any programs on it...:mad:
Hmm try restarting your iphone? or turning off wifi and then turning back on? if that doesnt work try turning off your iphone for a full 24 hours. If this doesnt help try to contact apple and they should reply giving you a box for you to return it for a replacement or they will fix it.
