Need hairstyle ideas?

i found this site where it shows what kind of hairstyles are suited for different kind of head shapes. i found it preaty usefull.

i printed out a hairstyle from this website to show to the Japanese hairstylist when i got my haircut done. very useful and she understood what i wanted

u can also try buying books with hair styles in them, ie oshiyare hea, Smart and kantan hea arenji

Sadly, I've learned not to expect the a re-creation of any pictures I bring to my hairdresser. Even with perms, etc. my hair texture/shape just doesn't work with a lot of the styles I like. Having said that, thanks for the links. Nice styles!

 

lotsa times it looks fine while ur still in there...
then wen u get out and have a shower... replicating the exact hair style is the problem lolz

i would like to have one of those crazy hairstyles but the maintenance is high......!

 

lol its hard to do , and the amount of hairspray and blah blah will make the hair feel really crap when its being touched and etc, lol Natural Hair FTW

ur not even meant to use alot of hair spray or wax, clay ,etc.!!!

for wax, clay, mud, etc etc u should only use just enuf to cover the tip of index finger,anything more should make ur hair look oily, hard or wateva!!
and once u get it on ur index finger u should rub hands together so it spreads evenly on both ur palms and fingers on both hands!
when u finish doing the main bit of hair use the remaining wax/clay/etc on ur hands for the back of head and fringe!!!

Hair spray is only used at the end to keep the whole thing in place for the day and when u do spray it it should be done at a distant and very briefly!!

hair will feel softer and more natural that way =P (but its a bit rougher if u straighten as well)

 

Its a shame that the sites are in japanese language, I don't even know whats it talking about
