oh i think that the monitor there that u found is pretty gd as it has a vga port for normal computers so i don't think u need to buy a new cable to hook ur comp to the monitor, it is hd ready with an hdmi port and is also a tv. not bad rele but soon u would need like a freeview box wouldn't u unless u have one already to watch tv. but i think the deal isn't too bad but u can get it from ebuyer.com for cheaper. link is here http://www.ebuyer.com/product/133810 also, i think that perhaps a 20inch would be better as it is quite a bit cheaper and that i think is better value for money though it is upto u. the 20 inch one is here http://www.ebuyer.com/product/132112

consider the SM2032MW, its a Samsung 20" LCD TV/Monitor HDTV ready, price looks good.... was tempted in getting one today, but end up getting the 2232BW :)

forget the smaller ones....get the 24" to get the 1920 x 1200 resolution, i think u can go 1080p with that. they are like in the 300+ range now...go with samsung.

do you have a price range? if your spending about £400 or so i'd say get a decent 32" tv/monitor
