I have been thinking about this for quite some time.. They came from Asia (well we all came from Africa but anways..) So are they considered Asian? There has been a genetic link found and aperantly they are closely related to East and South East Asians. Only reason why i ask this is because I have been trying to find more about my past/ansestors? But I have been told they are considered white, now I don't beleve that, I feel that, thats a reason to pardon Genocide (but thats for a differnt day). So anyone have any opinons?
I personally just consider them "native americans" simply because they don't fit the "yellow", "brown", "black" or "white" labels we tend to give "other" people. people living in the pacific islands are pretty ambiguous as well.
Sorry to bring this back up but I just thought of what made me think of this. On many standerdize tests I have been given only a selected few (Not being Big tests) only had Native American as an option in the race cadigory. Alot of the big tests had no bubble for native americans. Just thought it was interesting ^^
