Myolie Wu Meets $13.8 million Golden Rat ( Credits to batgwa.com) Myolie Wu (胡杏兒) has had a run of good luck recently, winning HK$600,000 in cash and prizes on Deal Or No Deal <一擲千金> earlier, winning the award for Best Comedy Actress at the Asian Television Awards in Singapore and presented with a golden pig figurine worth HK$20,000 from sponsors 3D-Gold at a promotional event on Saturday. Modelling HK$800,000 worth of diamond jewellery and posing with a Golden Rat figure worth HK$13.8 million, Myolie looked radiant and she later selected a bracelet from the range worth over HK$20,000 as a Christmas gift for her mother. She laughed that she was taken aback when she saw the giant rat figure, which stands at 1.5 m tall and 1.5 m wide, for the first time. The figure is made from over 50 kgs of pure gold and signifies fortune and happiness for the forthcoming year of the rat. Filial daughter Myolie has recently bought an apartment and although it is not a luxury residence, she said that it has fulfilled her ambition of many years.
