Hi! My first post. These are some of my drawings drawn when bored. I wish I can post more but I don't have a scanner, so, it's a little bit slow. I just love cross-hatching (for now). Random sketch: Football player - John Terry: Some character 1: Some character 2: Some girl: That's all for now. Will update again soon . Hope you like them.
I don't know what cross-hatching is but those sketches look awesome! Keep it updated PS: If you can sketch a pic of Stephy then
> cross-hatching It means something like criss-cross effects used to shade the lighting of the picture. This is usually seen in comics (Hong Kong ones, particularly). Some people prefer shading, smuding etc etc... Somehow I prefer cross-hatching. Thanks for the comment. > sketch a pic of Stephy then Hmmmm.... Hmmmm.... No promises .
> good books Hmm... I don't study books in drawings. Actually, it's mostly on interest. When you have interest then you'll tend to draw more. And when you draw more, you tend to learn more, practice. But I do 'learn' the cross hatching from reading comics (yes, the Hong Kong ones ). More like influenced by it. Cross hatching is actually easy if you get a hang of it. Just try it.
Thanks for all the comments so far. Appreciate them. Here are some of my other sketches: Some character: My future wife. Some girl: My future kid. Cute girl : Some girl. Wanted to draw tennis at first, but ended up as badminton: Comments are very much appreciated.
some really nice sketches, i agree with evo.... sketch a picture of stephy and i will say you are greaT!
It's been a long long time... More updates . Some girl: Thinking of me... : Some unrealistic event: Some shading: Complete failed sketch of Takeshi Kaneshiro: Some scenery, cross-hatching: C&C are most welcome. Takeshi is crabby... Was drawing on table while referring his picture on monitor screen. I tried drawing Stephy but... failed . Haha...
