So my birthday was last month on Feb 14. I am a valentine's day baby.hehe...But I haven;t had time to write this until now.
So it was my birthday my boyfriend and my girl friends threw me a party. All of my female friends gave me a birthday present there was a total of 4 girls at my b-day and 11 guys. Well only 3 out of the 11 guys that came actually brought me a present. the other 9 guys didn't. One of the guys use to be a closer friend of mine (meaning we use to get along until I moved in with my boyfriend) Well when he came to the party not only did he not say happy b-day he didn't even bring me a present a long with that he brought 3 other peoples that I don't even know to my b-day. He then marched in to the kitchen with his case of poker chips and just sat down and invited everyone except me to play poker. Well #1 for 9 of the guys that I knew including this JACK ASS that came to my party during all of their b-days I bought them $10 - $20 b-day present for their b-days when it was their b-day a few of them was a few weeks before mine including that -madsign1JACK ASS. Well as most people would assume, if some one gets you something for your b-day, you should get them something. Well that Jack ass not only did not get me anything but I spent over $40 on his b-day and he ruins my b-day party and my mood for the rest of the day. After the party I cried to my girlfriends and my boy friend about how I don't understand why I spent so much time and effort on people that don't even give me respect. I decided that I won't be nice anymore. I will only by presents for the people that actually cares about me. I deleted that JACK ASS as a friend on myspace and facebook and stop talking to him. When I see him I just ignore him, people like him deserve no respect. Also the other guys that joined him in dis-respecting me I am not really mad at them but more disappointed but i will keep some distance from now on from them. But I still dont really understand why some guys are like that. After we've been friends for 2 years. Also last year he ruins my b-day too by being the center of attention this year I was hasitend on letting him come, but I guess I was being too nice.

Hey yo, keep your head up girl some guys are just like that, I once bought a present with another friend for two of my friends that had there b-days on the same day. Anyway, I couldnt go the party and when he went he forgot to bring the presents so he just kept them at home, gave the chocolates (a part of the present) to his mother for christmas and the other presents to another friend on that persons bday. what a dude. He's not a bad person but i guess you could say he was just inconsiderate in that situation.

yea so guys i guess this is our lesson: not to make girls cry ^^

you are right we should not be expecting to receive because we have given...but come on isnt it logical tho...
she went to his bday party and got him something... he comes to her bday party emtpy handed....if ud so something like that...would u be able to look the person in the eye?
even if ur like ultra tight....just get SOMETHING doesnt matter what it is...

i would feel like so "mo meen"....

but ok...we all know that there are a lot of ppl with thick skin and dont feel no shame... unfortunately...

well its more like "not only did he not get gift or a Bday greeting, but decided to be the centre of attention"..

with friends like that who needs enemies...

friends comes and goes. and it seems like time to cut him loose..

just invite the very best friends of urs, ones u know wouldnt let u down..

    dw, PA supports ya!

same shit happen to me too! i ended up shouting dinner for ppl on my bday =| and normally for bdays i dun ask for anything (unless its something i REALLY REALLY wanted but no cash) cause having ppl show up to celebrate wit u is already a present itself as they push away other appointments away just to join u!~!!!! =D but its like opposite effect when ppl u hate comes and fks up ur happy go lucky party =|

well the present thing happens to all of us ... and that shouldn't be one of the reasons that you're mad because yeah .. you just can't expect everyone to be as generous as you

but the thing he did at the party ..
don't know why he did that but sounds stupid to me<_<

Yeah it doesn't really matter to me if he got me a present or not. But he was utterly disrespectful...Also he comes from a pretty old fashion chinese family I would expect him to know his manners even his younger brother wished me a happy b-day he didn't. On top of that took all the light.. Needless to say i am no longer his friend and I think we both understand that..
