30 years river east, 30 years river west. Still it will be interesting to see if the US is going to do something radical to prevent that. The US of now, has lost a lot of global support and respect. I mean, out of the world, how many country's people actually like the US? That may be just a big brother thing. I think US needs to find a big evil enemy, or create one, fast. Terrorism is getting old.
Germany wasn't a superpower, yet it was able to do so much damage. Mind you, Stalin wasn't any better than Hitler. Regarding human rights abuse and state level censorship, how much does America have and allow? Those rednecks aren't exactly liberal people are they? Any law restricts people's freedom, but laws are a must for an orderly society. Democratic US did vote in Bush (twice!!). I will choose Hu Jing Tao any day. Sometime the mass don't always know what's best for them. I am not denying China has a problem, but Democracy isn't as great as all it's made out to be, just like Communism. Also aren't the rich Europeans states approaching quite a left stance, that resembles the beginning of a Communist state?
Seriously history teachers at school these days are so prejudice about china and so called communism... brainwashing students with blasphemy -angry China has changes a lot and is getting a lot better in my opinion
And they say chinese students get brainwashed. I've sat on both side of the fence, and both parties are just biased as hell. Damn propaganda.
