Miriam Yeung was at Metro Broadcast Corporation Ltd radio station yesterday. She was there to promote her new album. In response to her previous record company Gold Label Entertainment Ltd took over EMI China/Hong Kong/Taiwan. The new name will be 金牌大風, Miriam expressed that she is very pleased for her former boss Paco Wong. There has been a lot of negative media coverage about Gold Label Entertainment recently. At last it's been sorted. She will support Paco Wong whole heartedly.

At the moment Alan Law and Jolin Tsai, both Taiwan singers are hot. Reporter asked Miriam whether she feels she is under a lot of pressure because of that. She replied " as artist, we always do our best. As long as we can sell record, there will be a market for it." (Will the company recruit more singers from Taiwan?) In fact, if finance is not a problem, I think we should promote local new comers from Hong Kong. Nowadays, the market is not as good as it used to. If a new singer can't sell record, that is the end of it. There are lot of talented singers here in Hong Kong. But they lack the opportunity to develop. We should invest in them and put more resources in Hong Kong to develop the music industry."
