Michelle Reis: Every Girl Needs A Diamond Collection

Michelle Reis (李嘉欣) and Mandy Cho (曹敏莉) were guests at the opening of the Macau flagship store of jewellers Tse Shui Lun. The sponsors presented Michelle with a diamond necklace worth HK$750,000 at the event and she smiled that she does love diamonds.

When asked how many treasures she has of her own at home, Michelle smiled that every girl should have her own collection and she is often presented with diamonds as gifts from sponsors, but she has not counted how much it is all worth. Asked if her most valuable pieces are gifts from her boyfriend, Michelle smiled that they should be, but she suggested that the reporters should ask her boyfriend [Julian Hui (許晉亨)], instead and said that happiness is not measured by the number of carats.

As for whether she will need a giant diamond when her boyfriend proposes, Michelle laughed that she has already received a lot of these. Asked if they were all proposals of marriage, she asked the reporters: "What do you think?". With Rosamund Kwan (關之琳) claiming that she had never received any gifts from generous businessman Joseph Lau (劉鑾雄) when they were dating, Michelle was asked if she had received any gifts from him during their relationship. Michelle admitted that he had given her gifts, but did not say how many. She said that she is still good friends with Joseph and they still keep in contact. As for whether she will be attending his wedding, she said that he has not arranged anything yet, so she does not need to reply yet.

Mandy wore a low cut dress at the event, but did not receive any gifts of diamonds. Instead, she was presented with a place on a diamond jewellery design course. She said that this gift was more suited to her because she had completed a course in gemology earlier and she will not accept diamonds casually because of their value. She laughed that it is not like giving or receiving chocolates.

Asked if rumoured boyfriend Stephen Wong (黃長興) has bought her any diamonds, she said she has only accepted diamonds as a gift from her mother. Asked further whether or not Stephen has given her any chocolates, she changed the subject again saying that she has not received any chocolates today. The reporters kept pushing and asked if Stephen qualifies to give her diamonds, she said she did not want to talk about it.
