Thought I'd post this, some may find this post boring but hey, it the Lounge!!! Some of you may know that I sell Enterbay Bruce Lee figures. I had a stall at the SENI08 show in London ExCel at the weekend, had a fantastic time and the figures sold well. There was also a Bruce Lee museum at the show and was great to see some original Bruce Lee Items. This is my Highlights of the weekend, I'm lazy so did a cut and paste from my OneSixthBruce site!! Highlights - Friday night - Bummped into Amir Khan at the hotel, had a quick chat, very down to earth guy, a great champ! Saturday - busy 1st day, sold out of Version B by 11.30am!!! Our family friend Sam Mak winning 2 golds at the Wu Shu comp, respect to Mr Fred Mak as he was so so tired!!! - Fred you should get Red Bull to sponser you!! Had dinner that night at China Palace, accross from ExCel and who was sitting on the next table - Linda Lee, Shannon Lee with her daughter Wren, Yori Nakamura, Tommy Gong and some of the members of the Bruce Lee Foundation. Very surreal feeling sitting next to them, with respect I did not approach them. Sunday - another busy day - eventually got to meet Linda and Shannon. They signed my GOD box sleeve and also got them to sign my brothers version A and B boxes. Linda asked my son Tyler what he did and he replied 'Freestyle' made her chuckle!!! Also got Richard Bustillo to sign too! The lows, the food at China Palace was SHIT waited 40 minutes for soup and the 'Siu yuk' wasnt even crispy!! 'Gai Lan' was salty as sea water, ruined the evening.
Thats cool that you got to meet them am really surprised that the food would be that bad you'd expect a place in that area to have good food
lol wow awesome a bruce lee musiuem , it would be awesome to see all the props and etc , stuff that was used in his movies =P
wow a bruce lee museum. i should definitely bring my friend there, he'd love it btw linda and shannon have very nice handwriting
There is no static museum as such but there is talk that there will be one to honor Bruce and Brandon. There are many artifacts including his old merc and porsche!! Its more of a traveling museum, had things like his suits, boxing gloves, letters, scripts, business cards, My fav was the hand written scene/script of the start of Enter the Dragon with Sammo Hung! Wasnt alowed to take pics but I know someone who did and will post some more up later.
