    Hi guys,

looking to get a media player box for my home.

was looking to get the TVpad but with the time different and work, i wont be able to watch any of the good shows.

So I will continue to download my contents and watch them when i have a chance, so media box is the best solution for me.

Just wondering is there any media player you guys recommend?

    Requirements
    HDMI connectivity
    S/PDIF digital audio
    LAN connection prefer gigabit
Network playback from my NAS share drives.
Playback all kind of file formats, Mostly Blu-ray rips and RMVB. 3D if possible.

XBMC, you can pick the bits needed to meet your hardware requirements and you can bank on the project to support the file formats you need right now and in the future.

did some research and planning to get a appletv and jailbreak it and install xbmc.

    anyone done this before ?

  4. For a fraction of the cost of the thing they call "apple tv", why not get XBMC on Rasberry Pi?
