In case anyone missed the message all over the news today, there has been a massive US Egg Recall (approx 380 MILLION!). So before you flip em over easy onto your plate, check out if your state is one the list: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/38741401/ns/health-food_safety Here is the official United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) web page detailing the recall: http://www.fda.gov/Food/NewsEvents/WhatsNewinFood/ucm222684.htm
I was so scared when I heard this, since I just finished having bacon&eggs lol. But, then saw it saying US. Wheww, safe
Here's an up date (found on CNN), and it ain't good, but there's a way out if you want eggs: But apparently, the way of cooking is key here; if eggs are fully cooked (eg hard boiled, fried hard; and not sunny side up, or soft boiled), one can prevent transmission of the Salmonella bacteria. I would suggest people who must eat eggs conform their cooking methods to a style that ensures its safety.
I heard about the news and probably gonna stay off egg when I am eating outside. I can still have it at home since I more careful about cooking them properly. Thx for sharing.
USA eggs are legit, but only with problems. Better than fake eggs imo. I freaked out when i saw this, but when i heard US only. I was like "thank god"
