“Johnny’s Charity Baseball Game” was held at Tokyo Dome on May 29th, and 45,000 fans attended the event. This was a part of “Marching J“, which is a disaster relief project of Johnny & Associates, and they will donate the profits from this event. — The participants were divided into “Red Team” and “White Team”, and Takizawa Hideaki (Tackey & Tsubasa) served as the representative of the “Red Team” and Kamenashi Kazuya (KAT-TUN) served as the representative of the “White Team”. Also, SMAP’s Nakai Masahiro threw the opening pitch while Katori Shingo stood in the batter’s box. — Though the game was quite close throughout, Kamenashi’s clutch hitting powered the “White Team” to an exciting win! Tanaka Koki (KAT-TUN), a member of the “Red Team”, praised Kamenashi, saying, “He (Kamenashi) is good after all.” Kamenashi, who led the team to a win, greeted the audience, “Thank you for the warm cheers and the booing. It caused an adrenaline rush.” Kamenashi was also chosen as the MVP, and received a big trophy. He said, “Since the victory was due to all the team members becoming one, I noticed how great the power of everybody as one could be. I hope that ‘Marching J’ will be able to send a great power to the devastated areas while gathering all of our powers as one.” — After the baseball game, there was also a live segment in which Kis-My-Ft2, A.B.C-Z , and Johnny’s Jr. members showed their performances. They performed a total of 30 songs, and Tackey & Tsubasa and KAT-TUN joined the live segment as well.
