Mag Lam held her first solo concert on October 16, 2011 at Hong Kong Arts Center. Her star was steadily on the rise as she achieved the impressive feat of attaining platinum status with her debut album Vocalist. Her powerful voice intact despite feeling a bit ill, the Voice 2 champion performed the songs on her album at the Joey Tang-produced concert, such as "Bathing", "Extraordinary", and "Bird Cage". In addition, she also challenged herself to covering a string of pop hits by other artists, including Alfred Hui's "Ants", Jade Kwan's "The Defeated", Denise Ho's "Angel Blue", G.E.M.'s A.I.N.Y., Ivana Wong's "I'm Really Hurt", plus other Chinese and English numbers for a total of 23 tracks.
