Driven by friendship and responsibility, he promised his friend that he would raise his son, Sing Jai for him. Sing Jai is a rebellious child, causing Man to be stuck on how to proceed on teaching him, his wife Kwok Ho Yi therefore goes to him. Sing Jai becomes aware of his actions and that he only had Man as his closest family member. Sing and Man finally were able to establish a great father and son relationship, a bond that is even stronger than with his biological father. Sing Jai's mother Yip Fong suddenly appears to fight with Man over for the custody of Sing, but later Man learns Sing Jai's background and in contrast felt sorry for Fong. Being together for a long period of time, Man unconsciously fell in love with Fong, but unfortunately Fong married someone else in the U.S. Her husband is Yeung Man Lai who pursued her from the U.S. Fong gets herself in a friendship dilemma where she does not know who to choose, wonder if she will have to experience the fate of separation with Man and Sing Jai... ...
