Louis Koo made a surprise appearance during singer Kay Tse’s concert on Wednesday (Oct 9), showing up in a special video that was shown in the middle of the event and acting out the role of a newscaster. However, that was not the biggest shocker of the night. Towards the end of the video, Louis decided to sign off by declaring, “I’ve just gotten engaged. Good night.” The Hong Kong actor’s declaration elicited screams from the audience, who were caught off-guard by his sudden announcement. After the concert, netizens immediately began speculating about the identity of Louis’s mystery fiancé. The name that was brought up the most was Jessica Hsuan. The actress had trained at TVB’s acting school together with Louis 25 years ago, and the pair is known for their on-screen chemistry. They had just wrapped up filming for their upcoming movie, A Witness Out Of The Blue, earlier this year as well. To add fuel to the fire, Jessica and Louis have been caught up in dating rumours a number of times. Just a few months ago, media reports speculated that the duo will be tying the knot later this year. However, Louis’s manager has since stepped forward to clarify his “engagement” statement, explaining that the 48-year-old was simply referring to his duet with Kay, titled ‘One Man, One Woman, and a Bathroom’.
