Louis Koo and Carman Lee Reunite in Movie "12 Golden Ducks"

Twenty years ago, Louis Koo (古天樂) and Carman Lee (李若彤) gave unforgettable performances in TVB drama The Return of the Condor Heroes <神鵰俠侶>. Louis and Carman reunited to make a guest appearances in Sandra Ng’s (吳君如) upcoming Lunar New Year comedy film, 12 Golden Ducks <12金鴨>.

12 Golden Ducks, which will be released on February 19, has been topping many headlines due to its star-studded cast. Starring Sandra, the film is jam-packed with many guest appearances from superstars all over Greater China, including Simon Yam (任達華), Isabella Leong (梁洛施), Anthony Wong (黃秋生), Nicholas Tse (謝霆鋒), Joey Yung (容祖兒), Vicki Zhao (趙薇), and much more.

In the film, Louis and Carman will portray a humorous pair who are working out together in the gym. In their sequence, they paid homage to various scenes from The Return of the Condor Heroes, including the scene in which Yang Guo and Little Dragon Girl practiced the Jade Maiden Heart Sutra.

Louis said he and Carman have not collaborated since 1995’s The Return of the Condor Heroes, and working with her again twenty years later did not seem to be much different. “We haven’t seen each other in over ten years. We never encountered each other at functions, but we did meet once on the plane. I believe that many people are looking forward to our collaboration. She hasn’t changed at all in the last sixteen years.”

Sandra pointed out that both Louis and Carman are single, and that they should think about asking each other out on a date. Asked Carman if she and Louis had anything going on while filming The Return of the Condor Heroes, Carman said, “Louis really hasn’t changed one bit. He still likes to hide in a corner by himself!”

Louis’ former rumored girlfriend, Taiwanese actress Michelle Chen (陳妍希), will also make a guest appearance in the film, but Sandra stressed that Michelle and Louis will not make an appearance together. Asked if it was because she wanted to avoid negative rumors, Sandra said, “Of course not, but I think people are more interested in seeing Yang Guo and Little Dragon Girl together again.”
