http://www.glumbert.com/media/mormon a "conversation" between mormon recruiters and a group of african-americans i was not expecting this.
the Mormons got OWNED, i felt sorry for them, the Christian guy was a little hard on them as the Mormons were expecting an easy ride lol
lol well they were the ones trying to shove their beliefs down other peoples throats, they just picked the wrong guys. i love how they tried to go away but the guy full just started telling em off about it hah
^ yeah lol, but remember that paul was afraid too when he said 1 Corinthians 2: 1 - 3 And I, brethren, when I came to you, came not with excellency of speech or of wisdom, declaring unto you the testimony of God. For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified. And I was with you in weakness, and in fear, and in much trembling. but paul go beaten, whipped etc for preaching the word so it wont be easy for us. it scares me to but i think i had the advantage of always going on about God especially in my workplace so i got kinda use to speaking out but its still daunting when im actually put in front of a bunch of people and all eyes are on me. as for arguments, it can be avoided in most cases depending on how you approach the person but sometimes its just unavoidable. Your a girl though so it can be dangerous if a big guy get mad or something so if i was in your position i would get bible tracts and hand them to people, if you dont want to do that then leave them in places where people will come across it, many things like that. ill stop typing as i have bit my tongue and it hurts...
^ good advice, master_g in essence, it is preparation and prayer. it does not take an extremely intelligent individual to speak fluently and convincingly about the word of God and about Christianity. so, don't be intimidated. if someone is truly interested in learning and understanding Christianity and your faith; they will ask genuine questions. therefore, allowing you to feel less pressure and more willing to express yourself with grace and fullness.
^ yup i agree with that. prayer is so important too, you have to pray that God softens the heart of the people you talk to and if they are willing they will receive the word.
