i didn't know for a long time

but i've been looking into Wii games and DS games, and they keep showing this "Alvin and chipmunks" video game
but they FINALLY realeased the cover shot, and that's when i found out it was REAL LIFE

 

I watched the trailer a while ago and all I had to say was
"..... wtf hollywood..... wtf...."

that kind of scares me ... lol

 

bring back memories haha, but i have doubts that this movie will be more than just a gimmick to make money from fans...live action cartoon remakes are usually not too good.

 

well that's how i felt when i saw the transformer trailer
but look at what a hit it became

 

But this movie doesn't have pointless giant CG fighting robots to save it from bombing >.<.

 

But it does have pointless tiny CG dancing chipmunks -.-

 

I watched part of it the other day ..
and I was like tortured >.<
it's so corny!!

 

I think this movie is going to have as many people see it as the live action Garfield movie. I still haven't seen that one and probably not going to bother with this movie.

 

OoOo...I love the chipmunks...used to be a big part of my childhood. They don't make cartoons of that kind anymore these days...pity.

 

oh that statment can be argued

tons of 80's cartoons are being remade
like TMNT, strawberry shortcake, carebares, scooby doo, etc

 

looks like a cute film.

 

In my opinion, I don't it's worth the money to watch it. I don't even know why they created the film in the first place. Classic cartoons, i.e. like The Chipmunks should not be animated and put into a LIVE movie. I'd rather watch the Cartoon than to watch this movie. Saves me money and grief.
