Linda Chung (鍾嘉欣) attended a function today and delicately refused to answer questions as to whether she and Philip Ng (伍允龍) had already broken up according to recent report speculations, when asked if she was currently single, Linda paused before answering that "work comes first", hinting there may truth in the rumours. Linda clarified that Philip is just a friend and she hasn't been in touch with him lately and also dispelled rumours about the intimacy displayed with her co-partner Ding Ye (丁野) in the her drama 3 of Honour <哪吒與楊戩>, She treats Ding Ye as a younger brother. Linda explained that during filming, "Their cast team is close, and we get along great, having fun with each other. I treat Ding Ye as a brother and I'm like the big sister. However, as a female artist, I must be wary of certain incidents that may occur and will give the wrong impression when in media hands. Even though the intimate embrace incident wasn't a big deal for me, it was used by the media to create gossip, it becomes a big problem as I don't want it to create issues for myself and Philip. On the other hand, Ding Ye treats it as great publicity, as he is now gaining more recognition from people, he's happy about it but I find it troublesome. " ~~~ cred: mingpao
