Ok well I just got the "Lets just be friends" crap recently -__- ... but did you notice. It gets all weird. Like your not really friends anymore. Lots of silence, and when I look at her she turns red and looks away. Anyways has anyone else ever experienced this =]? Share your stories! haha. well, i gave my first girlfriend the "lets be friends" and instead of becoming friends, we drifted apart and lost contact for 4 years until she found me on facebook lately and its really awkward that she wants to keep in contact. i dont know about other guys, i tend to lose contact with my ex's, because you go from friends to being their boyfriend and then break up and its really hard to going back to being a friend again, because you shared so much together and knew one and another. its really weird >.<
this hasnt happened to be me before.. but i guess in a way its up to the both of u to maintain that friendship closeness if u truly did wanted to stay friends... but then again, its like an easy excuse to break up with someone cos u dont have to talk to a friend or rather an acquaintance.. cos u become acquaintances if u treat each other like hi/bye friends *think this belongs in the Love and Relationship section*
wow i always hated that line... thing is that everything gets awkward i rather have them say yeah. lets break up and then not talk anymore instead of having it all awkward.. =/
I have been able to stay friends with my ex's at least most of them... i don't talk to them that much but we would still talk..

Never had any gf or tried to ask a girl and get this line, but it is harsh to get that line...the line seems like put our friendship to a test, well after relation... Wow what a player lol
It's wishful thinking really... that line you say it, kinda hope that maybe can still be friends...but everyone knows it doesnt work that way...its all wishful thinking... sigh x

"Let's just be friends" is a girl's way of saying that she still wants to take you to the cleaners but not have to sleep with you anymore; ie. open your wallet, not your zipper, sucka... -what? Avoid those like the plague that they are. -noclue Ralph
although my ex didnt use the line after he dump me... it was awkward talking to him as a friend.... what do u expect after dumping me twice...>__< so we just drifted apart...but nowadays we do talk once in long while i'm not bothered about him no more...
