Yesterday the 12 contestants met the panel of judges for the first time. Leon Lai and Olivia Cheng will be a few of the judges this year. The contestants will first score points based on first impressions with the judges. Leon expressed that he didn't read any negative news on the Miss Hong Kong contestants this year. His scoring will be based on a fresh first impression of the constestants. This would mean that Edelweiss Cheung, #4 Samantha Ko and #8 Angela Yiu's points scoring would not be affected by the earlier negative reports. The criterion is based on Confidence and calmness It's Leon's first time being a Miss Hong Kong judge. He stated that it was his first time meeting the 12 contestants yesterday. "Beauty and intelligence is the slogan for Miss Hong Kong. Personally, the criterion is based on (Confidence) and (Self control), if they are calm enough then they will win. " (Which Contestant had left a good impression on you?) "It's the first time I have seen them on stage, I will not comment on that because if I say too much it will affect their performance. I would like to give them the impression I am happy and not a pressurising judge. (Which Miss Hong Kong in the past has left you with the most memorable impression?) "Most memorable impression would be Michelle Reis and Maggie Cheung Man Yuk. Michelle was in the same company as me and has a very successful career. As well as Maggie Cheung who I worked with. Other's I would say are Anita Yuen and Kate Tsui. Guest Performers will be William Chan, Joey Yung and Raymond Lam #3 Edelweiss Cheung had already left Joey Yung and Raymond Lam with a deep impression It was revealed that the MC hosts this year will be Nat Chan, Eric Tsang and Wong Cho Lam. Guest stars performing will be Joey Yung, Raymond Lam and William Chan. #3 Edelweiss Cheung had already left a good impression on Joey and Raymond. Joey states "I have only seen her pictures but I feel she has a good figure." (But she has alot of negative news?) "I personally like her, that's why I would not be suitable as a judge." But when asked about rumoured girlfriend Linda Chung revealing he had a big stomach, he immediately pretends he hadn't a clue of what was being said. Then replies that there was no way she would know. #3 Edelweiss Cheung Edelweiss Cheung smiles while talking about kissing Edelweiss Cheung was reported earlier kissing with her boyfriend in front of her house. When she was asked about it, she responded with a smile and replied "It's normal, he drove me home. It's not as exaggerated as the reports stated, it was just a goodbye kiss. " (But it was reported it lasted for 2 minutes?) "He is my boyfriend, actually I don't want to talk about my personal life. I just want to focus on the pageant. Would be nice to see Leon as one of the judges, though i prob. wnt actually 'see' cos i havent really watched Miss HK for a good few yrs now - too boring. As for the long kiss.....erm, they are going out so wats the big deal?!
no way... i think i maxed out the age limits... those girls r mostly 17, 18 y/o... n miss hk have turned kinda cheap n ugly nowa days j/k... i don't have enough confidence to walk on that stage wearing bikini
