Leo Ku To Release New Album In July

At an interview with CRHK903 yesterday, Leo did not realise it was Dumpling Festival, mentioning about it gave him a sudden craving for dumplings. Leo revealed that his forthcoming album is expected to launch in July. When asked if he was afraid of competition as many singers plan to release albums only after World Cup, he replied that his album is already delayed, thus he is not avoiding World Cup deliberately.

Earlier on, Liu Jia Chang 劉家昌 (a veteran musician from Taiwan) praised Leo on his singing ability. Talking about this, Leo said he first met Mr. Liu at a TVB event while everyone was singing karaoke. Mr. Liu complimented Leo's voice upon listening him sing, they then had an informal talk on the transitions in the music industry today. Leo will be the guest performer in Liu Jia Chang's concert on 2nd June, where he will present Foon Lok Kum Siu and Oi Yu Sing.

Besides, Leo visited Mr. Liu's mansion once during the recording of 愛在香港 (Love at HK - a collaborative effort of many HK singers). He expressed that his goal is to emulate Mr. Liu to set up a recording room in his house.

With the success of three consecutive nights of concert last week, Vivian stated that she is currently scouting for an expensive gift for Leo as a token of appreciation. Leo, on the other hand, said he will definitely support Vivian in all circumstances. Vivian once said she treats him as a family member, and Leo feels the same too, so there is no need to buy presents between family members.

Leo then quipped that he might need Vivian's help in the future, so it is better to save some 'favour debt' now. When asked if he supports Vivian's decision of not singing anymore, Leo replied," The most important factor is Vivian's happiness. In fact, she loves singing and even asks me out for karaoke occasionally. It's just that she does not want to lead a celebrity's life anymore."
