Kevin Cheng And Niki Chow Back Together For The Seventh Day

The theme song for forthcoming TVB series The Seventh Day <最美麗的第七天> was played for the first time at a promotional event for the series today, which was attended by leading cast members including Kevin Cheng (鄭嘉穎), Niki Chow (周麗淇), Bosco Wong (黃宗澤), Natalie Tong (唐詩詠) and Suki Chui (徐淑敏).

The series will begin airing on TVB Jade on 18 February and Kevin expressed that he is confident about the ratings for the series. He revealed that when he was filming this series, he was moved to tears himself, so he hopes that it will have the same effect on the viewers.

For Valentines Day this year, Kevin will be taking part in a promotion for the series and when asked if he will be exchanging Valentines gifts with rumoured girlfriend, Niki, he refused to reply.

Asked if she would be at the Valentines Day show, Niki said that she would not be in Hong Kong at that time because she will be heading out to America for a series of New Year shows. As for whether she will be exchanging gifts with Kevin, she said that she has been busy recently so she has not had time to buy anything.

Talking of the suspects in the Edison Chan (陳冠希) scandal being arrested, as a former rumoured girlfriend, Niki said that she has not been troubled by this incident and hopes that it will blow over soon.

Bosco shared his new year plans, saying that he will be doing a countdown show with Myolie Wu (胡杏兒) tomorrow evening and then going to visit Liza Wang (汪明荃) on the first day fo the new year to offer his greetings and collect his lucky packet. Asked if he will also be visiting Myolie's home on that day, he laughed that there are no lucky packets to be gained from going to her home.

Asked if he will be buying Valentines gifts for anyone this year, Bosco said that he will be working, but joked that he will be buying a gift on behalf of his pet dog for his wife.

After winning a television set during an earlier promotional event, Suki continued her lucky streak by being chosen as the lucky recipient of a gold rat ornament. She smiled happily that she was born in the year of the rat, so this is a lucky year for her. She hopes that her horoscope for the year will ring true and she will find popularity and success in her career. Asked about recent rumours linking her to Charles Szeto (司徒瑞祈), she explained that the photographs were misinterpreted due to the angle of the picture and she would not choose to date a colleague. She added that she has not split from her boyfriend.

The Seventh Day is the follow up series from Under The Canopy Of Love <天幕下的戀人>, which had won Kevin the TVB Anniversary Best Actor award. Bosco and Niki both showed their support for him to win the award again this year with The Seventh Day and Bosco said that he was confident about the ratings because it is opening far enough in the new year for the celebrations to be over and everyone to be back home and watching television.
