It took three years of waiting, but Kenneth Ma (馬國明) said he has finally fulfilled his longtime wish of kissing Charmaine Sheh (佘詩曼) in their latest TVB drama, Casino Heroes <賭城群英會>. A few days ago, TVB’s streaming service myTV SUPER hosted an advanced screening event for their first original program A Time of Love 2 <愛情來的時候2>. The short film series stars an ensemble cast featuring Charmaine Sheh (佘詩曼), Kenneth Ma (馬國明), Priscilla Wong (黃翠如), Pakho Chau (周柏豪), and Raymond Wong (黃浩然). A Time of Love 2 features two short films. The first of the two will follow Charmaine, Kenneth, and their love story in Germany. The second and final film follows Priscilla, Pakho, and Raymond in Taiwan. Charmaine said she is excited for the film’s premiere and hopes the ratings for the short film will do well for myTV SUPER. “The movie was pretty difficult to shoot,” shared Charmaine. “We were in a tight schedule, but everything was worth it in the end. Germany has such beautiful scenery! It was like a painting!” Charmaine also got the opportunity to show off some of her German skills in A Time of Love 2. “I haven’t spoken it in many years. I had to get an instructor to help me out.” Both Charmaine and Kenneth also played a couple in 2014’s A Time of Love <愛情來的時候>, which they shot over three years ago. However, they did not kiss; they didn’t get to kiss for A Time of Love 2, either. “I guess it wasn’t required for the story,” said Charmaine. But the two frequent collaborators will finally get the chance to snuggle closer for TVB’s collaboration with Wong Jing (王晶), Casino Heroes. “We’re shooting Casino Heroes now, and I think it says we’re going to kiss in the script,” said Kenneth excitedly. “I can finally kiss Charmaine Sheh! Don’t say I can’t anymore!” Kenneth, who is close friends with Natalie Tong (唐詩詠), was asked if he had heard about the rumor that Tony Hung (洪永城) has already proposed to Natalie. He said he isn’t sure. “Natalie hasn’t told me anything about it. Maybe she doesn’t want to tell me before she says yes!” (What are your thoughts about this?) “As long as she likes him and trusts him.” (Do you think Tony Hung is a trustworthy person?) “We are not very close, but I trust Natalie.” A Time of Love 2 premieres on March 28.
