Kelly Chen (陳慧琳) is currently busy preparing for her upcoming concert. The Kelly Chen Love Fighters Concert 08 <陳慧琳 Love Fighters 演唱會08> will be held 13 to 18 June at the Hong Kong Coliseum. The concert will be the final event before the venue closes to undergo refurbishment. Kelly's last concert in Hong Kong was over three and a half years ago. Since then, she has completed tours abroad, as well as concentrated on her film career. Dance will be the main theme of Love Fighters, allowing Kelly to demonstrate her energetic side. Promotional posters will be designed by award-winning costume designers Chung-Man Hai (奚仲文) and Joel Chu (朱祖兒). Chung-Man will act as producer and art director, a role he fulfilled successfully at Kelly's last hometown concert. French and Australian sponsors are planning to invest a massive seven figure sum into Love Fighters. The audience can expect to see amazing backdrops and to experience special effects created using technologies never before used in a concert in Hong Kong. One confirmed idea is the creation of an underwater world on the stage. The year's trendiest colour, silver, will be the colour scheme. Kelly said: "We started planning for this concert late last year. At the moment, we are rehearsing every day. Since the concert's main theme is dance, a lot of time is needed to practise our routines. My manager has put on hold all other work, so for the next two months I can concentrate on preparing for this concert." Tickets for Kelly's concert go on sale online from tomorrow. guess with a big film out and everyone sees her again, is a good time to up her music career again, will def. be a sell out.
i really wanna attend this concert!! i'd go if i didnt have summer school. hopefully she might have a world tour later on!
