On July 7, a day before her big wedding reception, Kary Ng (吳雨霏) and her husband Brian Hung (洪立熙) held a welcome barbecue for their family and guests at a winery in the humble outskirts of Tuscany, Italy. The barbecue started at approximately 7 in the evening, just in time to admire the beautiful sunset setting behind the gentle green hills of Val d’Orcia. The singer, who registered her marriage with Brian in January this year, shared a romantic photo from their photoshoot in Val d’Orcia on her Instagram, writing, “Forever grateful. Praise the lord!” Both Kary and Brian were wearing white, and Kary’s dress, a long, white off-shoulder gown, was custom-made. To hold a barbecue in the meadows was Kary’s idea. She said she and Brian had made that promise to each other six years ago. “We got to admire the sunset and have our barbecue at the same time,” said Kary. “I’ve managed to fulfill one of my wishes.” Kary and Brian invited 50 close relatives and friends to the welcome barbecue, including her former Cookies bandmates Stephy Tang (鄧麗欣), Miki Yeung (楊愛瑾), and Angela Au (區文詩).
