Karen Mok officially announced her broke-up with former boyfriend Stephen Fung after 9 years. Yesterday before she performed a song called "Actually, I Always Wanted to Tell You", suddenly she talked about her sorrow after a break-up at the beginning of the year. But she didn't tell the reason of the break-up; however she said, "This song is for him." The relationship between Karen and Stephen is very public, but the break-up seemed to be very low-key. A day before when Karen appeared in a function in HK, she was please to talk about Stephen. Then a day later in her new song promotion, she became emotional all of a sudden: "During the making of this album, I felt very emotional and sad. During the broke-up of the beginning of the year, being a couple is good, but being friends forever is better. He is very supportive all time; he came to important concert of mine, including the one I held in Taiwan last year. Although today he didn't came, but I wrote this song for him." After Karen's emotional speech, all the fans and record company felt very shocked. But she seemed very strong and continued to perform. She seemed professional wearing all these sexy clothings. When reporters asked the reason of the broke-up, she only said, "Only family members knew about the break-up. I didn't tell any friends; there ain't any third-parties. There's no reason for break-up. Life is a live show, you can't predict what's going to happen." But Karen admitted that after ending this 9-year relationship, she felt sad and depressed sometimes; however she only showed her soft side to family members, she won't cry in front of friends. She also said that when recording the song "Actually I want to tell You", she held her emotion very hard causing her to have a bloody-nose. She said that working can release sad emotions, "I think I'm very crazy, because I'm giving up personal relationship to working. Ah-ya! Anyway I'm just crazy." When people doubting her broke-up is for the promotion, she said that the promotion already ended, don't need this to promoted. Stephen Fung didn't comment on the break-up. He is busy editing his new film "Jump Out". From sources, the break-up of Karen and Stephen is because they're all busy. The last time they worked together was at the beginning of the year when Stephen direct Karen's MV.
