How much did you lose after you jump roped. did it take a while like a month or 2? did you do jumprope 1 hour straight or take little breaks? i really want to lose at least 15 or 10 pounds -_-2

Doing exercise alone will not help you lose weight. In order to lose weight efficiently, you would need to maintain a healthy diet along with cardiovascular exercises.

well u don't have to do exercises to lose weight, though exercising helps u to remain healthy and to lose weight quicker. just the diet can do the trick usually.

jump roping is too boring for an hour, i do 4 sets of 3mins with 1 min rest in between, if you want to lose weight , do mauy thai with braillian jut jutsu, you will look like a beast in no time

jump roping does help burn a ton of calories,
remember nothing is a quick fix

also note: you may be burning calories but you might start building muscle mass, so your weight might go up
so weight, will go up, but your toned muscles will look great

also note that excersicing will make you hungry
so going for a loaded dinner after you've jumped a bunch, will be kinda wasted

There is no miracle about losing weight, all you need to do is watch your diet. People who are active or has done sports can increase or decrease their weight by adjusting their diets and exercise programs. There are 3500 calories per lb of fat, rope jumping burns about 600 calories at 40 min at moderate pace. So i really think it is easier to drop weight by changing your diet unless you want to jump 40 min a day for 5 or 6 days a week just to lose 1 lb. Or you can cut your calorie intake by 1/3 and lose 2 lbs a week. Of course if you can complement your diet with exercise then you will be losing 3lbs a week which most people can achieve in a healthy way. Clean food, vegetable, complex carbohydrates, fruits and natural food are a good start.
Also different type of bodies have different results. Your friend may lose more weight because of diet because rope jumping is the most boring thing ever and i don't know anyone who does it for more than 30min straight.

  7. jump roping will improve your cardiovascular system a whole lot, get a bike and ride it instead of driving or catching the bus. and watch what you eat.

you dont necessarily have to jump for an hour straight. just do it til you feel a bit of sweat. and just do it everyday.

i wouldnt just jump rope for an hour straight idk if that really works i just work out for at least more htne 30 mins i do like kick boxing and not like weight lifting cuz that only tones your muscles kick boxing and like other work out that keep you going like that helps more and you have to work mor ehten 30 mins cuz after 30 mins is when your fat is being burn jump roping we do for boxing but it only works your legs to me so it really depends just dont eat any high fat foods for like an hour after and youll be good make sure you eat breakfast in the moring that way your matabalisum is still going and by the time its lunch it alreay burned the food from breakfast and will keep going for lunch and dinner

you'll be jumping for hours to loose weight, I suggest you write up and diet plan and follow it. Also work out, do some running today then play tennis or something the next day. Make it so that you don' get bored or you'll just don't feel like keeping up with the plan.

I know it's a real great cardio to do. Start slow then increase the time. For example one week you do half hour. Then next week 35 minutes and so on. Otherwise try riding a bike.
