To mark the historic occasion of the merger of Hong Kong's railway companies - MTR and KCRC - Joey Yung (容祖兒) was chosen to sing the theme song to the event, titled "Growing Up With Me" <陪我長大>.

A music video to accompany the song was shot earlier, under the watchful eye of young director Gu Yu (古宇). Locations for the video included the depots at Siu Ho Wan and Bat Heung and also inside a train carriage. The director explained that the concept for the video is how Joey and many Hong Kong people have grown up together with the railways, so he has transformed the trains into a stage of life, hosting little scenes of song and dance to represent passenger experiences. Dancers of many ages and backgrounds were invited to accompany Joey in the video.

Joey was very pleased with filming and said that it has been a while since she rode on the trains and she has never visited a depot before. She remembered that when she was young, she lived in the New Territories and often travelled on the KCR trains, so her most vivid memories were of the orange plastic seats and how she spent a journey sitting on them with her sweetheart at the time.

In one scene of the video, a child trips and Joey stops her from falling over. This reminded Joey of a time when she accidentally dropped her coat onto the tracks and she was stunned. Fortunately a passing guard helped her to retrieve it and comforted her.

Joey also laughed that she never imagined that director Gu would be so "young and handsome" and she was glad to share a lot of experiences and opinions with him. Despite the rushed schedules and travel between locations during the shoot, they both had an enjoyable time making a little piece of history.
