TVB actor Joel Chan has recently confirmed news that he and his girlfriend Apple will be tying the knot soon. The singer, who spoke to Mingpao on 21 August, shared that the upcoming wedding, which will be held on 1 November, will be a simple celebration, as requested by his non-showbiz girlfriend. Asked if there was any special meaning to the decision to hold it on said date, he said, "Every day is meaningful and special." As to whether he will find time to prepare for the wedding seeing that he will begin filming his new drama "Running in Strides" soon, Joel smiled and said that he is a simple man after all. In regard to baby plans, he said, "I will let nature take its course. It's all in God's plan." This will be Joel's second marriage. The singer was married to his non-showbiz girlfriend Ponny for three years before their divorce in 2011.
