Raising the Bar <四個女仔三個BAR> star Jeannie Chan (陳瀅) recently went to Bangkok, Thailand to shoot her upcoming photobook, which will be released on August 21. She revealed that there will be a few spreads in the book in which she poses fully nude, but her sensitive spots are hidden behind a few cactus plants and a cat. Jeannie and the camera crew originally did not plan on doing nude photoshoots, but because a location was not available during filming, Jeannie’s image consultant suggested to do a different shoot instead. After much discussion, the team decided on posing naked behind cactus plants. The 25-year-old rising actress recalled, “It was my first time being naked in front of everyone. During the photoshoot, I asked for everyone to leave except for the female staff. However, I still felt really awkward and embarrassed. I asked myself why I agreed to this.” Determined, Jeannie overcame her fear quickly. She is very satisfied with the photos she took, saying, “I want to leave behind a memory and overcome my own fear. Many people have criticized me for not looking skinny enough. With these photos, I want to tell everyone that I am very proud of my own body.” Jeannie actively participated in the photo selection for her book. For the nude spread, she made sure to scrap away photos that revealed her private areas.
