Thursday May 8, 2008 China Kung Fu Dunk which was aired during spring of 2008 brought about a big swept at the movie box office and the investor has decided to do a sequel to it, Kung Dunk 2 According to Southeast Morning Paper, it was reported that Jay Chou, who has gotten into directing movies, will collaborate with Director Andrew Lau in Kung Fu Dunk 2. This will be Jay Chou's second self-directed movie after 'Secret'. On the other hand, Andy Lau will join the cast, however, the role has not yet been determined but it was reported that Andy will play an important role in the sequel. It was also reported that the roles of Jay's four master in Kung Fu Dunk has been neglected and their appearance on-screen has been significantly cut due to time constraint. It was reported that in the sequel, the 4 master's cast will remained unchanged and more emphasis will be given to each of their roles. i really enjoyed this movie..so its good to hear that there's a sequel coming out.. i really liked the theme song too but dont know where to get it..."-.-
lol must be a side project for andy lau haha...or just like one of those father figures roles i guess, like anthony wong. But i have low expectations for this even though i didn't watch the first one. the concept is just corny ass hell...and andy lau better than this. but nonetheless he'll make money....star power and pretty popular to the audience.
that kung fu dunk wasnt really that good i think now they got andy lau in i'm sure it will be a box office hit
yeah....i have to agree that this will be another box office hit with andy being part of it the first one wasn't so good :(
I enjoyed the movie but not up to the point i really like it. Some scenes are funny, others are alright. The ending is predictable. -rolleyes
Heard that the first one is not too good and haven't watch it yet and now this 2nd one andy will be in and hopefully will get better.
