LMAO how the hell is that freaking possible? Is that allowed in baseball? Cause if it is I bet every single pitcher that sees this video is gonna imitate that.
speaking of imitating. i saw a video where some pee wee football league or something used the same "play" in the longest yard. but about the video ^_^ japanese people are sure creative.
whoa...lol...that was funny, but i think he actually needs alot of power to flick his wrist or w/e his doing lol
Where did you find this rule? There are submarine style "underhand style pitching" pitchers in baseball, for example, Chad Bradford of the Baltimore Orioles and Byung Hyun Kim of the Florida Marlins. I guess if the batter in the video was looking for a breaking ball, there is a possibility that he can hit that ball 300ft+
actually I looked it up and I was wrong. I guess you can throw underhand but most people would not be able to generate enough velocity with the underhand pitch.
You're right on the velocity issue Bigc. Most professional submarine pitchers from the U.S. or Japan can only throw in the low 90's(mph). Near perfect mechanics are needed to pitch submarine and be effective.
wow o.0 wat a pitch >.< i think my wrist would snap if i attempted to pitch underhand at that speed =P
